If you like spicy food, there's nothing better than the Mexican food at Garibaldi. The dining area, which has a capacity for 60 people, is decorated in true mariachi style; there are ponchos and Mexican sombreros (hats) hanging from the walls and there are large earthen pots in every corner. The food is typically Mexican. Try the chilli con carne, burritos, guacamole with fried tortillas or the enchiladas. The most recommended dish on the menu, however, is the Garibaldi chicken, served with guacamole, frijoles (black beans), vegetables and your choice of sauce. For dessert, order yourself the bananas flambé with tequila. If you're still not convinced, come here on the Virgen de Guadalupe's Feast Day in summer. In honour of the Patron Saint of Mexico, special dishes are prepared. The restaurant also offers student discounts on the daily set menu. The restaurant is closed on Mondays in winter.
