Located in the diverse and multicultural Beaux-Arts neighborhood, the synagogue is part of a collection of buildings looking out onto the large central court whose entry is found opposite the Departmental Archives. The site houses several Jewish associations, most notably the offices of the Association Cultuelle Israélite de Montpellier (ACIM). To the right of the entrance, is a cooperative selling kosher products and there is also a snack-restaurant serving light kosher meals. The center acts as an essential source of information and meeting place for the Jewish community at Montpellier.
