Locals love this family-style restaurant where you can dine within feet of the mighty Drava. Very little English is spoken here and you will need your dictionary to figure out the menu, but the authentic Croatian dining experience is worth the effort. Fish is on the menu, but not exclusively, so start with local cheese and sausage and a bottle of the house wine (Slavonski kulen, sir grbancijas, vino buteljirano), and you may not have enough room for dinner. Portions are enormous; do save a little room for the strudel. If you take a table outside after dark, bring along insect repellent.
