About
Nawaz Sharif Park is named after former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif. The park was inaugurated by Mian Nawaz Sharif in 1983 the then Prime Minister of Pakistan. The park is primarily meant for providing sports and re-creational opportunities to families and their small children and kids. The park has long walk-ways, amusement attractions, swings, games, and eating points. On week-ends, there is great rush of small kids. Many families come here for a small picnic. Approach to the PArk is very convenient. You can come from Islamabad (via Agha Shahi Avenue) from RAwalpindi (via Murree Road and / or Khyaban-e-Sir-Syed) Good place for family out-doors.
