Malotira is an aromatic Cretan herb which is used to make a digestive and relaxing tea. The owners of this small Cretan shop specialize in Cretan cuisine, with delicious plates like boureki, kalitsounakia (small cheese pies) pitas, sandwiches, all made with ingredients from Crete. Fresh goat cheese, spicy cured pork, wholegrain rusks with olive oil and tomatoes, and of course tsikoudia (very strong alcoholic drink in small glasses). You can also buy the ingredients separately to take home.
