About
Enoteca della Valpolicella, with its wine cellar and tasting room has been created out of a large 15th-century building. The original owner's house with its dairy, barn and dovecot have been successfully transformed into a pleasant trattoria. The dishes come to the tables full of traditional touches: in springtime the tender peas add flavor to the homemade tagliatelle, in the autumn, risottos are made tasty with porcini mushrooms. In the winter there is pasta and beans and polenta with finferli. For meat dishes there are Venetian-style calf's liver, with onion steamed rabbit and grilled lamb chops, all of which are served with several vegetable side-dishes. The desserts are excellent.
