About

Caffe Paszkowski was founded in 1846 which was the parlor to be at in Florence. At the beginning of the 20th century, Paszkowski meaning "cafe" welcomed intellectuals and writers in its doors like D'Annunzio and Pratolini. The cafe was used to discuss the topics popular in the day. During the Second World War, Paszkowski tried to stay open even during the Nazi raids. Since 1943, Paszkowski has been the scene for the hottest stars of elections throughout the years and the economic boom and growth of tourist population. It was damaged by the 1966 flood but amazingly was restored to its beautitul art deco walls. This cafe is still very popular among the tourists and locals alike. If it is a coffee around 11am or a late night jazz session, Paszkowski is still thriving.
