A classic local that offers fish and meat dishes with an owner, Ugo Bertolotti, who has a particular interest in the wine menu. This is an elegant restaurant on the eastern outskirts of the city. Polite, attentive service. Starters include 'orecchiette' pasta with scampi, clams, tomatoes and courgettes, meat ravioli with ham and black truffles and spaghetti with lobster. For main course they offer beef pesto with a parmesan crust and black truffles, roasted fillet of beef in a casserole with rosemary, oil and traditional balsamic vinegar, cod with rosemary and turbot with celery and herbs. There is a good choice of cold meats from the area and cheeses. Desserts include cold zabaione and bitter chocolate cake in a caramel sauce.
