Thanks to Tripfactory and specially to Thaqsheel for managing this trip very well. Overall it was an excellent trip and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. Team back in Singapore for cab pickup and drops and ticket arrangement was fantastic.
Hotel Village Bugis suggested by Thaqsheel came out to be perfect place to stay. Singapore being a small country, places are not that far as it might look on Google Maps.
Package created and places covered were as per our inputs. We could have covered couple of more attraction if we knew local tickets cost will be very high. All changes asked for were done without any issue.
Telegram support also was excellent., TF team responded to queries within a min at any time of the day / night. This gave lot of comfort when you are in a new country.
We stayed in Village Hotel Bugis which is on Arab Street and 500 mtr from Bugis Street and shopping mall. Haji Street at walking distance is a paradise for late night dinner and drinks. People sitting outside and enjoying food and some lovely live music. Unfortunately restaurants on this street closed at 11:30pm.
Tip :- if we have plans for full day sightseeing don't spend much on Hotel because all you need is a place to come back and sleep. So Village Buigs was prefect fit. Room size we good for 3 Adults and 1 Kid.
Sightseeing was good. Cable Cart to Sentosa is a must. Universal Studio can’t be missed at all if you are in Singapore. Even though Sentosa and Universal Studio is in same place "Resort World Sentosa” you can spend two days there.
In Sentosa Island, SEA Aquarium is a must. If you don't like walking and want to go in most of the rides , pls ensure you have booked right package which cover more number of rides. We had only three attraction but spent rest of the day in seeing few things which was free of cost. In the end don’t miss “Wings of times” show to end your Sentosa day.
Gardens by the Bay is great place to go and you should visit Cloud Forest Dome. Flower Dome for kids was boring. End the visit by seeing Light and Music show, not that great but worth one time.
City tour was disappointing except the Guide. City tour actually had nothing. Bus picks you and takes you to Singapore Flyer. If you don’t have it in package , you can buy the tickets there. And people who don’t want to buy can just walk around for 1 hr. Next stop is Clarke Quay Boat right and Merlin Status. Again if don’t have it in package you buy otherwise you walk around for 1 hr. After this two they will take you back to your hotel and in between see the city, That’s pretty much half Day city tour. Not worth at all.
Pickup from Airport, Hotel from Sightseeing was great. instruction was right and people come exactly on time. That’s how Singapore works. You have to be one time otherwise they will leave you. Except City tour bus none of the pickup was ever delay.
Singapore is an expensive city and food is very costly even if you are having it in MacDonald’s or Domino’s Pizza. So definitely plan your expenses well. Sightseeing ticket are again expensive so have it covered in your package.
