We came to know about TripFactory from a friend of ours. The experience to begin with was very good with a very supportive customer service. The person was very patient to all our queries and quick to customise our various needs until we could fix the package that best suited us. Once we paid advance, all further procedures went smooth (the Visa processing, delivering vouchers, etc. etc.) and we even got an upgrade in our stay (from studio to 1 BR).
Most of the drivers we were provided were very professional and friendly.
Having said that, we incurred a huge loss due to the unprofessional manner we were treated during our Abu Dhabi trip (the only sic option we took as the customer service person informed us that private transfer will be very costly). The so-called guide was not at all behaving like a guide and he first took us to the Grand Mosque by around 11 am (when the actual time in ticket was 7 pm). He did a lot of bargain with the security personnel there, and yet due to the crowd they were not willing to oblige (understandably). Then he asked us to enter the Mosque on our own and this whole exercise cost us more than 2 hours (The reason he gave us was we could spend more time in Ferrari World if we finished Grand Mosque first). We skipped other places and came straight to Ferrari World (again the reason being more time to be allotted in Ferrari). It was 2:45 by the time we reached Ferrari (we had not had our lunch which we were supposed to have there) and we were asked to return by 5 (needless to say in 2 hours we wont be even able to walk around Ferrari, let alone take the rides). After some bargain it was changed to 5:30 pm with a warning that any delay past that the bus will leave without us.
Ferrari World was the only park in our trip and though TripFactory had clearly mentioned drop off and pick up for all other places there was no mention about pickup for Ferrari and we had no way to argue with the driver/guide. Our 12 year old son's only attraction was the rides and on entering the park we realised in 2 hours we will not be even able to enter even a single ride in the 2 hours due to the rush. After spending lakhs of rupees we couldn't just return, hence we fast tracked our tickets (at an additional cost of 250 AED per person). Even so we could not enjoy all the rides and were tensed with the thought of bus leaving us rather than enjoying the trip.
Another big issue was though we got a SIM from the Airport itself and provided the number to chat support multiple times, our UAE number was not shared with the drivers and this caused a lot of communication issues. All the places we visit are huge and heavily crowded and this lack of communication has costed us and the drivers a lot of time. Drivers were given the Indian number in which we were not reachable which understandably irked them and affected the way they interacted with us. This was a huge flaw and should have been easily rectified.
Another issue (though not serious) was that our Miracle Garden (morning) and Global Village trip (evening) were scheduled on the same day, but with a trip back to hotel in between. Both these are situated very close by and you could have easily combined the two and have saved a lot of time again. Around 4 hours was given for Miracle Garden which even Google says can be finished in an hour and utmost 2 hours if you are fond of taking a lot of pics (this especially irked us as we were given only 2 hours in Ferrari, which is a place where you need a whole day!!!!)
Apart from these, our experience has been very good, but this is something you should consider seriously as these are places we visit only once in a life time and missing the fun because of irresponsibility of some is a shame.
