Dear Padma,
It had been a great travel experience with Tripfactory, where all efforts had been made by you all to
make it a memorable one.
Our accomodations had been very good and comfortable. Though the rooms have been very small and
provision of drinking waters were limited to two 500ml per day. It will be a bit difficult for any
vegetarian guests as choices of dishes are limited, however manageable.
Tour operators in all the locations have been very cordial and punctual. They had handed over all the
tour tickets during first pick-up itself, duly acknowledged. Well managed with perfect co-ordination.
At Langkawi, during boat ride, there was a short halt at one of the islands. Though we were able to hop
out of the boat, there was no provision of any stool or ladder to climb back into the boat. We did ask
the boat operator about this, he had a stool with him, but did not provide the same. It was very
difficult for any senior citizen to climb into the boat and barely managed with the help of co-
passengers.
Another unforgettable experience is the flight delay from Langkawi to Mumbai via Kuala Lumpur, which
resulted in our missing the flight at KL. The airlines did their best to accommodate us in a hotel at
KL. Initially they informed us that they have arranged with Malaysian airlines the next day morning,
which they could not accommodate us and had to take the next evening flight. This unexpected
development made us reschedule our other plans in Mumbai.
On our way back from KL to Mumbai, by Malindo airlines, our seating was on the fourth row. Since I am
diabetic wanted to use the wash room in the front, which the crew refused me to use. They asked me to
go all the way to the tail end of the aircraft wash room, the food cart was also obstructing and had to
wait till I got enough room to pass. This kind of attitude is not acceptable where the airlines are
not passenger friendly. Hope you will look into this matter and restrain from using such airlines for
your future guests.
On the whole, Trip factory team have managed very well and appreciate your efforts. A special thanks to
Ms. Padma, who had done her best to help us in all respect.
