Westerkerk was built in the 17th century and is the biggest church in Amsterdam. The West Church is the most significant place for Protestants in the country. Over the years, Westerkerk Tower has come to be known as an important landmark in the city. It is 275 feet high and is a prominent structure in the Old City Centre. Climb to the balcony of this structure to enjoy beautiful and uninterrupted views of the city. While the church is open to tourists throughout the year, Westerkerk Tower is accessible only from April to October.
