The charm of the Vishwanath Gali lies in the innumerable street food stalls dotting the street. The most famous amongst them is the South Indian snack shop which is located towards the right, just as you enter the gali. Do try their super soft idlis (just for INR 10) and Vadas. There are many sweet and Lassi shops in the myriad offshoot galis that branch off from the Vishwanath Gali.
For those who do not like to count their calories, there are numerous shops which offer samosas and khasta kachoris. If you have a sweet tooth there are shops offering gulab jamun, rabri and mouthwatering jalebis.
In the main gali, on your either side, there are a number of shops selling perfumes and yummy 'Churans', 'Golis' and Aam Padads. The must try are anardana, sweet supari, special pan mix, hingoli and sweet amla candy.
