Urbanización Can Pep Simó
Avenida de Cap Martinet
About
The Catalan architect Josep Lluís Sert found in traditional Ibiza-style architecture the perfect model for his ideas on what modern architecture ought to be like: rational and welcoming. To put his ideas into practice, he came up with the idea of the Can Pep Simó housing development along with other architects such as Germán Rodríguez Arias. The result is a small group of privately-owned houses spread out on the side of a small mountain, which demonstrate the architect's theories. The streets here are named after architects, photographers and painters. You can get to the housing development from the Aqualandia road. The turning is signposted with a wooden sign that says "Can Pep Simó".
