Tyarekoppa Lion Safari at a distance of 10 km from Shimoga, en-route to Sagar town, Lions, Tigers and other animals are often found roaming around in the deep forests freely. The Lion Safari started way back in 1988 is an ideal picnic spot. The safari is spread over a huge area of 200 hectares of dense forest.
