An excellent little Chinese restaurant tucked away on a sub-soi behind Miracle Mall, Tong Lai shun is known mostly to local Thai Chinese and Japanese families. Red lanterns hang outside while the inside is brightly lit, noisy, busy and decorated with Chinese artwork on the walls. The food is excellent and moderately priced, sizzling with a definite spiciness to some dishes rather than the usual Cantonese-style most Bangkok Chinese restaurants adopt. Dishes include dumplings, sizzling plates and stir fry.
