Just in time for the Christmas holidays, The Dutch National Ballet presents the classic ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ in a run of shows from 12 December 2013 to 1 January 2014 at Amsterdam’s Muziektheater.Classic Christmas balletLet the fairy tale enchant through the original choreography of Marius Petipa and the beautiful music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Though choreographed over 100 years ago, The Sleeping Beauty remains a pure example of classic ballet. The dancers pirouette through the story of the beautiful Princess Aurora trapped in a sleeping curse.
