The National Museum of History and Archeology[9], Piata Ovidiu, (contact@minac.ro, +40241618763) displays an impressive collection of pieces from the Greek and Roman antiquity (for example, the Glykon Snake, Fortuna and Pontos, Two-faced Nemesis and countless amphoras). Also outside the museum there are some marble tombs and artifacts. Open hours: 1 May-30 September:daily 8AM-5PM; 1 October-30 April: Wednesday-Sunday 9AM-5PM. (Monday, Tuesday closed)
