Local man Brian Moore will host the evening of festivities in Portrush to welcome Santa to town to switch on the Christmas Lights. The event will take place at the Ampitheatre from 6-45pm with carol singing from the local schools and some festive tracks to add to the atmosphere. A true community feel will be added to the evening with the local retail sector extending some festive cheer to the Community, through the provision of some FREE festive refreshment to add to the Christmas atmosphere.Santa meanwhile will commence his journey around the Town at 7pm with his trusted Clydesdale horses , who will return him back to the Ampitheatre to switch on the Christmas lights alongside the Mayor of Coleraine David Harding at 7-30pm.Thereafter, Santa ‘s busy schedule continues and he will make his way to his Grotto where he will distribute a small pre Christmas gift to children of primary school age accompanied by an adult.
