Just one hour west of Brisbane and less than one and a half hours from the Gold Coast, you can find Stockton Rise, a peaceful Country Retreat set amongst farmland in the picturesque Lockyer Valley. Just four kilometres south of Forest Hill and close to Laidley and Gatton townships, you can discover the delights of this rich agricultural area by taking a farm drive; visiting local markets or farm gate stalls to buy the freshest and best of Queensland produce. Alternatively, sit in comfort on the large deck or verandah of the retreat and watch over the day's activities from afar. There is much to do and you may just want to stay longer to explore this very historical area. Stockton Rise is a self contained house comprising three bedrooms in a spectacular position overlooking farmland. The accommodation is perfect for a family or for friends/groups to spend time together or for couples wanting to spend time away in the countryside.
