Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple is the sole Lord Shiva shrine in Tirumala.The famous festivals celebrated in this temple are Brahmotsavam, Annabhishekam, Maha Shivarathri and Vinayaka Chaturthi performed here with great pomp and splendour. Kapila Theertham and Alwar Theertham are also located in the temple complex. The temple complex also houses shrines of Sri Venugopalaswamy, Sri Vinayakaswamy and Sri Lakshminarayanaswamy.
