About
Evening timing : Daily from 1600-2100. This architecturally outstanding temple is located in Nagalapuram, which is an important place of tourist interest and is 70 kilometers from Tirupati. The temple is dedicated to 'Lord Vedanarayana' and was built by Krishna Deva and his mother Nagamba. It is named so because of the legend that believes that Lord Vishnu retrieved the Vedas from the rakshasa (demon) Somakudu in the form of a Matsya (fish). The idol inside the sanctum is an image of the Matsya form of Lord Vishnu and it holds the Sudarsana Chakra in prayoga (ready for release).
