This swanky Thai restaurant in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood takes its cue and its name from a rocking street ("soi" in Thai) in Bangkok, and runs with the flavors from there. Everything on the rotating menu is typically impeccable, but definitely seek out crab and squash dishes. The interior is posh, but the waitstaff is friendly and knows the menu well, so ask away for suggestions.
