About

Simon Wisenthal Center is an international Jewish human rights organization, set up in 1977 by Simon Wiesenthal, a holocaust survivor himself. Built to ensure that the lives of millions of persecuted Jews does not get forgotten, it focuses on two main issues. One is to bring to the fore issues of anti-Semitism, racism and terrorism; and the other is to prosecute Nazi war criminals. Located at the center is the Museum of Tolerance, which is a must see for all who come to Los Angeles. It has a poignant amalgamation of documentation on the holocaust (survivor testimonies and artifacts) as well as racism (Tolerance-center).
