Shree Mankameshvar Temple

The Mankameshvar Temple is located in Kheda, at a distance of about 40 km from the Ahmedabad. It is one of the most frequented temples of the area. The devotees believe that prayers offered here are always answered and hence the temple draws visitors from all over the country.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple has a unique feature. Lord Shiva is often represented in the form of Shivalinga. And the Mankameshvar temple is located inside a huge Shivalinga. The Mankameshvar Temple can be easily accessed by means of road from Ahmedabad. The temple town of Kheda is located along the NH 8, which connects almost all important towns of Gujarat. Bus fare from Ahmedabad to Kheda is around Rs.50/- per person.

While visiting the Mankameshvar Temple, one can also visit the Mahalakshmi Temple nearby. This temple is also one of the most prominent pilgrim spots of the area. Darshan and arti offered to deities are the major activities here.
