The Amarnath Dham is in Amrapur is 35 km away from Ahmedabad. Located on the Gandhinagar-Mahudi road, this renowned temple is also known as a 'mini Amarnath'. It was built in 2003 and since then, lakhs of devotees and tourists alike have visited the pilgrimage site. The cave temple houses a five feet-high Shivalinga made out of ice, and is open for tourists throughout the year. Various festivals are celebrated at the temple with great fanfare but only during the holy month of Shravan, special pujas and aartis are organised for devotees.
