About
Bike, picnic, swim, or ride horseback in Chico’s beautiful 3,618-acre municipal park.
This wild urban forest is where Errol Flynn donned tights and a perky little hat and romped in the 1938 classic, Robin Hood. Stop by the Chico Creek Nature Center to learn about the local ecosystem, then grab a map and explore the diverse and pristine park. North Park Drive is open to vehicles, and a springtime cruise by car or bike showcases an explosion of local wildflowers. In summer, you can also catch Shakespeare productions here--maybe even more men in tights.
