Try something a little bit different with textiles and learn how to make your own bird using traditional textile techniques and skills in a modern and innovative way. This sculptural textiles workshop will cover embroidery, applique, hand stitch, patchwork and felt making. Lauren Scott is a textile artist, graduating from the University of Ulster in Fine and Applied Art Textiles with First Class Honours. All abilities welcome.You are welcome to bring your own sewing kit if you have one. Lunch break 12:30pm – please bring a packed lunch. Tea / coffee provided
