This is the centre of Cuiaba's downtown area with the cathedral, post office, Palacio de Instrução and Former Governors' House all nearby. Just off to one side is the old town with its colonial buildings, a shopping area and snack places where you can have a fresh juice and the local cheese bun called Pão de queijo, yummy!
