Easy to get to by bus from Cuiaba and fairly inexpensive, but you will have to hire local guides for access to some sites. There are three local agencies in Chapada but only one had an English guide available when I visited. It's best to book in advance. Open all year round but certain sites are only available on some days of ths week so it's best to check beforehand that the sites you want to visit are open.
