If you haven't seen the bullfights at the Plaza de Toros, you really haven't seen the real Spain. It's all about raging bulls, violent races and fights, haughty toreros and more. An integral part of the Spanish culture, bullfights continue even today, in spite of the many oppositions regarding the practice. A number of music concerts and events used to be held at the Plaza Monumental too, but today, it takes pride in being the most prominent bull fighting venue in Spain. The century-old structure also houses the famous Bullfighting Museum where you can check out some great bullfighting memorabilia.
