Wine grower Markou family started the business in 1928, selling wine and soup in a small shack in Psyrri. Craftsmen, traders and laborers would stop for a glass and to hear all the latest news. In the early 50's the family built a two storey building on the same location and opened their restaurant where they serve homemade specialities and their own wine. Recently the younger generation have taken over and maintain the same standards of quality creating the kitchen of Markou Vineyards.
