Discover a unique collection of fabulous children's toys and trains at the Toy and Railway Museum. Explore a grand home and glorious gardens. Thousands of delighted families and collectors can't be wrong: it's a definite must for the kid in us all. Families and serious collectors alike can explore pre- and post-war toys including dolls, teddy bears, lead figures, comics and books, tinplate trains, aeroplanes, automobiles and working model-railway layouts. It features NSW Railway trackside and station memorabilia including lights, trolleys, seats, signals and signs. Set in five hectares of beautiful cool-climate gardens, the property was laid out at the turn of the century. This includes the spectacular amphitheatre - a popular location for photo shoots and wedding ceremonies. Its weathered sandstone and Bathurst slate mirror the changing character of the great sandstone cliffs and blue vistas of the Jamison Valley, over which it gives extensive views.
