A larger-than-life polar bear, created from steel and recycled plastic by acclaimed local artist Ian Swift, stands proudly as the star attraction at Leura's appropriately named 'Lost Bear Gallery'. Located in the historic Leura Post Office building, this fine art gallery is home to a superb collection of paintings, sculpture and other collectable objects of art by a select group of Australian artists. Lost Bear Gallery is part of the Katoomba Fine Art business and provides visitors to the Blue Mountains a wonderful opportunity to see some of the very best art in the mountains, when visiting the beautiful township of Leura.
