Notre Dame Cathedral

 Built upon the ancient Episcopal cluster between the 10th and 13th centuries, the Notre Dame Cathedral is one of the iconic structures of Grenoble. Although modified in the 19th century, the cathedral kept its 13th century tower, chancel and vaults. Also during this period, archaeologists discovered an important early Christian baptistery which is now housed in the Mus�©e De L'Ancien Evech�©. Notre Dame is recognized by architecture enthusiasts as one of the best-preserved cathedrals in Europe.
