Museo Casa di Dante
Via S. Margherita, 1, Florence, ItalyAbout
Casa di Dante, a restored medieval house similar to Dante's birthplace, also serves as a museum recording the life and times of this famous poet.Dante's house is located between the little square and the street named after Saint Margaret, Santa Margherita, next to the Torre della Castagna and what is left of the church of San Martino al Vescovo. Even though built in the first decade of the twentieth century, it is unquestionably one of Florence's most evocative buildings.
