One of the most sacred pilgrimage spots in Mukteshwar is the ancient Mukteshwar Temple. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located on the hilltop. The Shiva temple has a beautiful white marble idol and the yoni is crafted from copper. Within the temple, the idols of Vishnu, Brahma, Parvati, Ganesha, Hanuman and Nandi surrounding the Shivalinga. It is a popular trekking destination and a pilgrimage spot.
