Shiva Temple, also known as Mukteshwar Dham, is one of the famous Hindu temples of the destination. Located on a steep hill of a height ranging more than 7,000 ft, the temple is believed to be more than 350 years old. The ancient shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction. Apart from Lord Shiva, Parvati along with her son Ganesha and Shiva's Vahana, Nandi are also worshipped in the temple. The prime attraction of the temple is a white marble Shivalingam with copper yoni. Apart from this, idols of Brahma and Vishnu, popular Hindu deities, are also enshrined in the inner sanctum of the temple.
