You can enjoy swimming in Hong Kong as this island has a number of public swimming pools. If you feel like just watching the people swim, there is a 252 seat spectator stand and if you are a keen swimmer, there are different pools to choose from. A 25 meter indoor training pool as well as an outdoor main pool, an 18 meter teaching pool and an 18 meter toddler pool. A word to the wise, however: avoid peak hours and weekends. Crowds can be a problem. Best to call ahead and check opening hours and facilities, as these vary from pool to pool.
