About

Visual information panels and artefacts illustrate the historical development of Mold and surrounding area. Various aspects of the towns history, including the industrial heritage, social life, the work of local poets, composers, the artist, Richard Wilson and replica of the Gold Cape, a Bronze Age ceremonial item found in Mold in 1833, are displayed. The Victorian period is represented by two rooms dedicated to Daniel Owen, the father of the Welsh novel. The rooms feature his tailors workshop by day and his parlour/study in the evening.
