Cuisines: Seafood
About
Since 1999, Farah Ahmed and his son Hicham have been consistently serving some of Tangier's best seafood dishes. In a great beachside location, Miami Beach is popular with locals and visitors, and is often one of the livelier places along the beach strip. The French menu covers mainly fish dishes, including filets of Saint-Pierre (John Dory), espadon (swordfish), or the daily line fish, all accompanied by sauces such as an apple Normand, Roquefort, pepper, mushroom, or white-wine bonne femme. The carte du vin has a reasonable selection of mainly local wines at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the chocolate mousse with almonds for dessert. Windows all around the restaurant take advantage of its great location, and low lighting, atmospheric music, and comfortable woven chairs accompany the uniformed waiters to make this an all-round pleasant dining experience. Note: As with most restaurants in Morocco, smoking is allowed inside Miami Beach and can at times be particularly thick.
