Tailored walks are offered, for all kinds of groups and individuals, children and adults. The Girley Bog walk is especially popular. Butterflies, iridescent blue dragonflies and wild orchids are just some of the wildlife to be seen in the summer months, as well as bog cotton and round leaved sundew, a native insect eating plant. Learn how bogs are formed and why it is so important to conserve them. Forage for bilberries, raspberries and strawberries along the way. All walks can be combined with a walking tour of Kells heritage town conducted by The Book of Kells Experience.
