Its fairways are graced with mature native Irish trees, which enhance this picturesque setting. Headfort's New Course is also home to a magnificent Asiatic tree collection. Christy O’Connor Jnr, the designer of the new course, has made maximum use of the two islands on the Blackwater, the surrounding forests and the magnificent, mature, broadleaf trees dotted around the land.
