She has studied and worked for quite a bit in New York at French Cullinary İnstitute, Le Cirque and Eleven Madison Park. Maya is an exceptional restaurant in the heart of Karaköy. Its menu -prepared daily from fresh ingredients- changes daily as well. Didem Şenol announces the day's menu each day on her blog / restaurant web site. Food is simple, prepared from seasonal ingredients. One might say the cuisine tends to take a twist of fusion as the blend of ingredients are sometimes beyond the traditional. Yes, it may be so... However, the dishes are not based on heavy and hot spices. Be prepared to see handsome and charismatic business men and sophisticated locals at lunch here.
