Kantin is a very cozy cafe in the heart of Nişantaşı, preparing and serving different healthy meals everyday. In the beginning, the ideal of the Kantin team was to become a place that would serve a healthy alternative for lunch for businesses in the neighborhood. In other words, Kantin was to be the "Dean & Deluca" of Nişantaşı -enabling take-away of healthy meals during lunch break or after work for dinner. Gradually, Kantin expanded and established its upper floor -a seating area for lunch breaks and for tea time after 15:00. The first floor then became the "Dükkan" -a store for sale of products and meals -take-away. Inside this area there is also a long "chef's table" for use in private parties and get-togethers (the place allows this area for company or friendly gathering events as well). Although the menu is updated daily, if you come across any of the following dishes, delve in :) Falafel (small croquettes of mashed chickpeas and fava beans), sardines rolled into grape-vine leaves, artichoke salad and the chestnut meringue for dessert.
