Killarney's July Racing Festival will combine the very best of horse racing with a fantastic festival atmosphere for all race-goers. Monday to Wednesday are evening meetings with the first race off at 5.40pm approx. and Thursday is an afternoon meeting with the first race off at 2pm approx.The festival will be opened on Monday with 'Family Evening' with a dedicated children's entertainment area which includes bouncy castles, face painting, children's disco and lots more to entertain the families and children. Tuesday features some great national hunt and flat racing. On Wednesday, Killarney Racecourse plays host to some of the 2014 Rose of Tralee contestants and their escorts. The Dawn Milk Ladies Day will take place on Thursday and is the highlight of the July Racing Festival attracting capacity crowds at the boutique racecourse each year. The winners of the Queen of Fashion and the Most Stylish Hat Competition will enjoy luxury trips to the fashion capitals of Europe, Paris & Milan and receive a specially commissioned crystal vase.The 2014 festival will feature The (Grade C) Bourn Vincent Memorial Handicap Chase.
