The Irish Parachute Club is located less than one hour from Dublin, 19km from Kildare in Edenderry, County Offaly. It is the longest established parachute club in Ireland and is open all year round. Every level is catered for whether you are a first time jumper looking for an experience of a lifetime with a tandem jump, jumping for charity, learning to skydive or a seasoned skydiver.The club is home to hundreds of formation flyers, free flyers, wingsuiters and swooper/canopy pilots. If you're down to watch a friend or a family member do a tandem jump, also watching club members in action is a great day out.The IPC is also Ireland's largest skydiving school and offers monthly AFF and static line classes and two fully equipped training rooms with full video/DVD playback facilities. At the Irish Parachute Club students get the support and social atmosphere that's important when learning to skydive safely. The purpose built facility contains a social covered packing area with big screen TVs, three bunkhouses, showers, camping facilities, a restaurant, club room, pool table, arcade games and of course a bar for those world renowned weekend skydiver parties. All major credit cards are accepted, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Laser etc and gift certificates are available.In nearby Kildare, The Irish National Stud, Japanese Gardens and Horse Museum, Tully, County Kildare, are open seven days a week, 9am to 6pm. The Japanese Gardens were established in 1906. Follow the path called ‘Life of Man’ for a unique experience. For more adrenalin action, close by in Donore, County Kildare, is Mondello Park which offers racing experiences in formula one look-a-like single seater cars, supercars and off road.
