About

This is a historical hotel that was built on the main road of the little town of Howick. Back in 1872 Howick was a accessible place to cross the raging waters of the Umgeni and the hotel was built for convenience. Among other socially significant people that have visited the hotel, You would find That Mark Twain, Paul Kruger and Nelson Mandela have stayed there at some point. Its a great hotel located in a rather peaceful environment but accessible to the shops.
