Heritage walks which begin at 16 hr from Le Café, located on Beach Road.A walk around the White Town beginning at the southern end of Goubert Salai, also known as Beach Road ,will take you past most of Puducherry's sights: the Place de la Republique (Gandhi's statue has replaced Dupleix's), the Lighthouse, the French War Memorial, the statue of Joan of Arc, the Church of Our Lady of the Angels (3 Surcouf Street), the Pondicherry Museum and the Government Gardens.
