"HALLELUJAH" is a 72ft/40ton classic Perahu Lambo, that I Captain/Dr Hugo, designed and built with the world famous Bugis boat builders in 1983 on a tiny remote island in the Flores Sea south of Southern Sulawesi in Eastern Indonesia. Constructed entirely by hand - without power tools or electricity - from the strongest native hardwood (superior to teak) to maximum specifications for ultimate strength and durability, she took about a year to build and was launched in early '84.
